Stalking Injunction Dismissed

A petition is not proof.

An accusation is not evidence.

And a request for an injunction is not an automatic victory.

Today, after a contested hearing, the court denied a stalking injunction petition against my client.

Too many people assume that once an injunction is filed, the outcome is predetermined. It isn’t. The petitioner still has the burden of proving the allegations under Florida law.

These cases can affect your reputation, employment, firearms rights, housing, and future opportunities. That’s why they must be defended aggressively.

If you’ve been served with a stalking, domestic violence, repeat violence, dating violence, or sexual violence injunction petition, don’t assume the court has already made up its mind.

Fight the allegations. Present the evidence. Tell your side of the story.

Another injunction denied.
